My Equipment
My principle camera is a Nikon Z7 Mirrorless camera.
I have a range of Nikon lenses that I use depending on the subject matter, from wide angle to zoom lenses and various focal lengths in between.

I have a University background in French, History of Art and European studies and a 20 year career in the Civil Service but I have always been passionate about creating and making images.
My current home in Paris allows me to explore this amazing city, capturing the sights, and visiting fabulous museums and historic buildings, feeding my appetite for making photos.
I am a mostly self-taught photographer but I have attended a number of short courses over the years, read many helpful books and magazines about photography, and have been lucky enough to spend some time with some passionate and inspirational photographers from whom I have learnt a great deal.
My principle focus is on cityscapes, landscapes and property interiors but I am always excited to discover new subjects to photograph, as well as capturing familiar subjects in different lighting and different seasons.
